In the 6th minute Nusret Safvetullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akın Acaralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ertaç Poyraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Yazihan's Oktay Türegün got control of the ball when Günay Özkok tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oktay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertaç Poyraz in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Mikkel Andresen had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Şenol Cintay's late challenge caught a tLg Footbal Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şenol Cintay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of tLg Footbal Club booed when Yazihan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şenol Cintay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, tLg Footbal Club's Ertaç Poyraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oktay Türegün narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Günay Özkok notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Yazihan's Oktay Türegün. Oktay Türegün was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Günay Özkok did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Oktay Türegün 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ertaç Poyraz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oktay Türegün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd match minute, tLg Footbal Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Torhan to maneuver through the defense. If Nusret Safvetullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oktay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertaç Poyraz in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Güner Atılay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yazihan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave tLg Footbal Club the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ertaç Poyraz was the one to do the kick off. If Ertaç Poyraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akın Acaralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nusret Safvetullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Yazihan defense, Günay Özkok kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oktay Türegün. The Yazihan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oktay Türegün should have stopped the shot. Ertaç Poyraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ertaç Poyraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Mustafa Ali Bekata sped through tLg Footbal Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Akın Acaralp. Oktay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ertaç Poyraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. tLg Footbal Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
