Genco Saylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ertuğrul Erek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sercan Aydın was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The referee gave Veysel Özçin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Veysel Özçin kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Seyfi Ehil fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enes Jimnastik Kulübü's protests and gave Seyfi Ehil a yellow card for diving instead. Kosuyolu SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
