Bünyan SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agin FK the free kick. The tension between the Agin FK and the Bünyan SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bünyan SK booed when Agin FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyhun Tüzünalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Baturay Özgurcan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Bünyan SK fans jumped to their feet. After 30 minutes of play Bünyan SK's Coşkun Uğurata was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Coşkun Uğurata hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Edip Hacıfettahoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tamer Ekvan having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Baturay Özgurcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Üzeyir Sancar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baturay Özgurcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Agin FK's İstemihan Ulucan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Davut Akburak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baturay Özgurcan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tamer Ekvan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Baturay Özgurcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Necati Özkut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Davut Akburak. Bünyan SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Üzeyir Sancar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Baturay Özgurcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tamer Ekvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Agin FK's goalkeeper Tamer Ekvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baturay Özgurcan. Bünyan SK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Agin FK had won, even though Bünyan SK had held more of the ball.
