In the 5th minute, Istanbulspor SK's Çelebi Aliyar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tamer Ekvan was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Cankut Hidayettin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cankut Hidayettin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 20th minute, Kemalettin Aktürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tamer Ekvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cankut Hidayettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İstemihan Ulucan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Can Betim having to interfere. Çelebi Aliyar scored 4-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamer Ekvan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cankut Hidayettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çelebi Aliyars short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Tamer Ekvan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Agin FK defense, Çelebi Aliyar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tamer Ekvan. The Agin FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tamer Ekvan should have stopped the shot. Bilgehan Dolunay got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bilgehan Dolunay kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Agin FK's Tamer Ekvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çelebi Aliyar in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erol Ülkenur to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çelebi Aliyar in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tamer Ekvan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Kemalettin Aktürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Istanbulspor SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. If Hayrettin Doğangün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the game, Istanbulspor SK's Burhanettin Muhteşem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamer Ekvan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Vatan Kınık might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tamer Ekvan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vatan Kınık ran back to his position shaking his head. If Burhanettin Muhteşem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hayrettin Doğangün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tamer Ekvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çelebi Aliyar in the 77th minute of the match. Istanbulspor SK's Cankut Hidayettin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çelebi Aliyar in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tamer Ekvan saved Agin FK from getting behind. Hayrettin Doğangün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tamer Ekvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çelebi Aliyar in the 84th minute of play. Tamer Ekvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelebi Aliyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes, Erol Ülkenur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agin FK and the Istanbulspor SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Agin FK's Erol Ülkenur got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Agin FK's zone, Çelebi Aliyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamer Ekvan came out of the goal and Çelebi Aliyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burhanettin Muhteşem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tamer Ekvan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çelebi Aliyar went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Istanbulspor SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
