In the 4th minute of the match Veli Sirri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hıdır Sözer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adanaspor's Cemil Eryaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Adanaspor from getting a goal against them. Eşref Muhsin struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Cemil Eryaman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bekilli. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ferman Durualp sped through Bekilli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hıdır Sözer. 31 minutes into the match, Adanaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Tansu Yeler came free, but Cemil Eryaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Adanaspor's goalkeeper Cemil Eryaman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eşref Muhsin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tansu Yeler in the 41st minute of play forced Adanaspor's goalkeeper Cemil Eryaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cemil Eryaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tansu Yeler in the 43rd minute of the match. Furkan Demren hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Adanaspor getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Güney Hafızoğlu hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tansu Yeler made a kick off. Adanaspor's Ferman Durualp was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bekilli's zone, Bircan Develi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hıdır Sözer came out of the goal and Bircan Develi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bircan Develi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Hıdır Sözer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adanaspor. Tansu Yeler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cemil Eryaman having to make a save. If Eşref Muhsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Ferman Durualp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adanaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferman Durualp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bekilli's Hıdır Sözer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bircan Develi in the 77th minute of play. Adanaspor's Muharrem Oğuzman suffered a concussion after 87 minutes and had to leave the field. After 87 minutes, Kamer Sarif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bekilli and the Adanaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kamer Sarif hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Adanaspor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
