Çakabey Özbil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arda Ozan Türünk kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Mehmet Edip Şahistan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Çakabey Özbil charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çakabey Özbil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PAYASSPOR's Çakabey Özbil got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 25th match minute, PAYASSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Can Temizsoy to maneuver through the defense. Hüseyin Rahmi Ecemiş might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Metehan Düden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüseyin Rahmi Ecemiş ran back to his position shaking his head. Metehan Düden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Sedat Helvacı in the 33rd minute of play. Hüseyin Rahmi Ecemiş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Metehan Düden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 41 minutes into the game, Ahmet Haşim Yalazay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Baybars Taybars was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, PAYASSPOR's Çakabey Özbil got a free kick in the 46th minute. The long shot by Mehmet Edip Şahistan in the 47th minute really tested Metehan Düden's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Sedat Helvacı to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the PAYASSPOR defense, Hüseyin Rahmi Ecemiş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Metehan Düden. The PAYASSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Metehan Düden should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Haşim Yalazay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Baybars Taybars tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Suphi Yazgan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bursaspor and the PAYASSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes PAYASSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Çakabey Özbil. If Hüseyin Rahmi Ecemiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüseyin Rahmi Ecemiş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Metehan Düden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Ahmet Haşim Yalazay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAYASSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Haşim Yalazay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Halil Can Temizsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
