Sadettin Zeki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özbek Baransel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute Şeref Tuğra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özbek Baransel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If İlyas Hazlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömür Doğanay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burç Özerk in the 12th minute. If Sadettin Zeki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İlyas Hazlan in the 18th managed to get into a good position. In the 28th minute, Şeref Tuğra made a precise shot to the right of Özbek Baransel. Karatay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ömür Doğanay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Lemi Satır was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TORNEDO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karatay the free kick. In the 48th match minute, TORNEDO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lemi Satır to maneuver through the defense.

If Şeref Tuğra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömür Doğanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burç Özerk in the 65th minute of play. Şeref Tuğra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özbek Baransel having to interfere. Karatay's Burç Özerk got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Şeref Tuğra came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the TORNEDO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şeref Tuğra couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Karatay's Ahmet İlke Tokgöz got a free kick in the 77th minute. A hard shot 78 in the game by Sadettin Zeki from a close distance when the talented Özbek Baransel managed to make a qualified save. Karatay's players were relieved. 81 minutes into the game, Karatay's İlyas Hazlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ömür Doğanay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, İlyas Hazlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karatay's supporters rose to their feet, but İlyas Hazlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ömür Doğanay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ömür Doğanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burç Özerk in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, İlyas Hazlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karatay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 95th minute, Sadettin Zeki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özbek Baransel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TORNEDO FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
