Gerede SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedai Civan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebati Ege to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Özgün Candeğer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Merih Ulus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fedai Civan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tansel Urluk having to interfere. Merih Ulus made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Özgün Candeğer sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Sabri Ural suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Uğur Timuroz's late challenge caught a Gerede SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uğur Timuroz helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Kavak SK got a freekick which was hit by Uğur Timuroz. A hard shot 78 in the game by Özgün Candeğer from a close distance when the talented Merih Ulus managed to make a qualified save. Kavak SK's players were relieved. Özgün Candeğer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes of play Kavak SK's Uğur Timuroz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Özgün Candeğer came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Gerede SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özgün Candeğer couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gerede SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kavak SK.
