Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Salihli FK's Turan Gazzali started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Salihli FK's Arif Nihat Ziverbey got a free kick in the 4th minute. Necdet Işılay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Turan Gazzali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAPTANPAŞA SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Salihli FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bedri Başel came free, but Necdet Işılay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necdet Işılay was a little too slow when Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. 37 minutes into the game, Özer Sezai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KAPTANPAŞA SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salihli FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, KAPTANPAŞA SK's Özer Sezai got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of KAPTANPAŞA SK booed when Salihli FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdullah Sümre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Salihli FK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hamdullah Sümre hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necdet Işılay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Dilaver Konuralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Okan Erdurmus came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the KAPTANPAŞA SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Okan Erdurmus couldn't finish the play. Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Işılay having to interfere. Necdet Işılay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asım Unat in the 66th minute of the match. Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Nihat Ziverbey kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Abdi Mehmet Keşif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turan Gazzali in the 75th minute of play. Abdi Mehmet Keşif made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Necip Buyruk sent off a good shot on target. Arif Nihat Ziverbey hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Salihli FK's zone, İsmail Cem Tokkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necdet Işılay came out of the goal and İsmail Cem Tokkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necdet Işılay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ahmet Bedri Başel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When KAPTANPAŞA SK's Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salihli FK's goalie prevented a goal. KAPTANPAŞA SK's Ali Nabi Kılıçaslan got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute İsmail Cem Tokkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necdet Işılay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Salihli FK got a freekick which was hit by Hamdullah Sümre. After 94 played minutes Salihli FK got a freekick which was hit by Dilaver Konuralp. When the referee ended the match the KAPTANPAŞA SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
