When Hıncal Onultan came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gebze JK fans jumped to their feet. With a little luck, Hani's Halil Kökşin got control of the ball when Hıncal Onultan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Halil Kökşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doruk Önen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hıncal Onultan came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gebze JK fans jumped to their feet. A collision led to Hani getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Baran Bilge Çağkar hit a great ball. If Hıncal Onultan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Turan Bozkaya to make the kick off. Ahmet Turan Bozkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayvaz Tüzer having to interfere. The supporters of Hani booed when Gebze JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alişan Yasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Hani's Denizhan Balyemez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Hıncal Onultan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Halil Kökşin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alişan Yasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Halil Kökşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hani's Mehmet Emrah Harmanda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ayvaz Tüzer but with some difficulty. Doruk Önen struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Halil Kökşin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gebze JK. Hıncal Onultan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alişan Yasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayvaz Tüzer made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ferdi Aker sent off a good shot on target. Ayvaz Tüzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bedri Refik in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Hani getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ahmet Turan Bozkaya hit a great ball. Ayvaz Tüzer was a little too slow when Ferdi Aker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Ayvaz Tüzer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Bedri Refik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. Gebze JK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
