A wasted opportunity for Senesevler. After some careless play in the Catalca defense, Gökhan Mahşer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceyhan Özel. The Catalca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceyhan Özel should have stopped the shot. Refik Tümkurt charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Refik Tümkurt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Senesevler's Refik Tümkurt got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ceyhan Özel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökhan Mahşer in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Senesevler's Birdal Saim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ceyhan Özel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Catalca's Berkant Tümel got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gökhan Mahşer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceyhan Özel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Özkan Tanyol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümtaz Oğuzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Senesevler's zone, Hıncal Muhtar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özkan Tanyol came out of the goal and Hıncal Muhtar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berkant Tümel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birdal Saim made a kick off. Ceyhan Özel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökhan Mahşer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Catalca's Hıncal Muhtar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Birdal Saim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catalca's Ceyhan Özel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gökhan Mahşer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Gökhan Mahşer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 90th minute, Gökhan Mahşer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceyhan Özel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Gökhan Mahşer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Catalca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Senesevler's performance. The match ended with a win for Senesevler.
