Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Behram Özduru started the match with the kick off. If Mecnun Güngör had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökberk Özender in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ömer Nezir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arın Acunman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Abdülhak Ulvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birkan Dizdar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdülhak Ulvi having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Mecnun Güngör was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beşiktaş J.K. the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behram Özduru in the 19th minute of play forced Beşiktaş J.K.'s goalkeeper Ömer Nezir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Sinan Dilsuz. Beşiktaş J.K.'s Arın Acunman got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gökberk Özender's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ömer Nezir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Gökberk Özender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökberk Özender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Beşiktaş J.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Orhan Baştugay to maneuver through the defense. İlker Pamiroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İlker Pamiroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Galatasaray's Abdülhak Ulvi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arın Acunman in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birkan Dizdar was the one to do the kick off. Beşiktaş J.K.'s Ömer Nezir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökberk Özender in the 56th minute of play. Behram Özduru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ömer Nezir having to make a save. In the 65th minute of the game, Gökberk Özender landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ömer Nezir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behram Özduru in the 70th minute of the match. When Ramiz Onursu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiz Onursu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Behram Özduru in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ömer Nezir saved Beşiktaş J.K. from getting behind. Ömer Nezir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behram Özduru in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Beşiktaş J.K. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ahmet Orhan Baştugay hit a great ball. Sinan Dilsuz struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ömer Nezir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. Ömer Nezir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behram Özduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berat Mertkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömer Nezir having to interfere. Abdülhak Ulvi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birkan Dizdar, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Galatasaray were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
