İskender Özozan's late challenge caught a Senkaya SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İskender Özozan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, İskender Özozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Erdem Dicle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raşit Aral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Özgün Enginalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senkaya SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgün Enginalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Erdem Dicle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, Senkaya SK's Özgün Enginalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Erdem Dicle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Özgün Enginalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Erdem Dicle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özgün Enginalp in the 16th minute. Mustafa Anıl Mesut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ant Askeroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Senkaya SK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dinç Temizhan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgün Enginalp got free with Ali Erdem Dicle in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özgün Enginalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Erdem Dicle having to interfere. Bican Arıkan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Ant Askeroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Anıl Mesut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Senkaya SK defense, Ant Askeroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Anıl Mesut. The Senkaya SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Anıl Mesut should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ant Askeroğlu was the one to do the kick off. Ali Erdem Dicle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tansu Toker in the 53rd minute of the match. Kocatepe JK's Ali Erdem Dicle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Aral in the 58th minute of play. Raşit Aral struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ali Erdem Dicle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senkaya SK. 65 minutes into the match, Senkaya SK's Özgün Enginalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Erdem Dicle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Senkaya SK's Bican Arıkan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ali Erdem Dicle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Özgün Enginalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özgün Enginalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Erdem Dicle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özgün Enginalp ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özgün Enginalp in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Erdem Dicle saved Kocatepe JK from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Kocatepe JK's zone, Özgün Enginalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Erdem Dicle came out of the goal and Özgün Enginalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Erdem Dicle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Recai Akad's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, Özgün Enginalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Raşit Aral sped through Kocatepe JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Erdem Dicle. Senkaya SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
