Behiç Ilımlı charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behiç Ilımlı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Turgutlu getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Behiç Ilımlı hit a great ball. If Recep Tayyip Gagauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Turgutlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cengiz Ekin to maneuver through the defense. Uğur Ayana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Recep Tayyip Gagauz got in the 17th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Emran Nedim handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Arkın Usluer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uğur Ayana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Uğur Ayana came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Gevas FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uğur Ayana couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Recep Tayyip Gagauz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emran Nedim, passed just outside the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkın Usluer to strike the kick off in the second half. When Arkın Usluer came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Turgutlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkın Usluer couldn't finish the play. Arkın Usluer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bulut Öge came out and tried to block the shot, but Arkın Usluer slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 58th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Turgutlu's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Tayyip Gagauz came free, but Emran Nedim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gevas FK's Uğur Ayana got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emran Nedim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Recep Tayyip Gagauz's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Emran Nedim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Tayyip Gagauz in the 76th minute of play. Turgutlu's Emran Nedim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğur Ayana in the 78th minute of play. Recep Tayyip Gagauz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emran Nedim having to interfere. Emran Nedim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uğur Ayana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Turgutlu got a freekick which was hit by Güneş Resai. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Turgutlu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
