If Behçet İzmirli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkan Durcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ali Atıf Özyay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boğaçhan Taykurt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oğuzkan Akbal's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Sabahattin Rahmi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Atıf Özyay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Behçet İzmirli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Atıf Özyay having to interfere. Behçet İzmirli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Behçet İzmirli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adem Özdel to strike the kick off in the second half. RED FC's Behçet İzmirli got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Ondokuzmayis got a freekick which was hit by Caner Serbülend. After 60 played minutes, RED FC's Baykam Tolay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Atıf Özyay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RED FC reached it. Fazıl Soner hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Alkan Durcan fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RED FC's protests and gave Alkan Durcan a yellow card for diving instead. If Oğuzkan Akbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Alkan Durcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkan Durcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Atıf Özyay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Behçet İzmirli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alkan Durcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oğuzkan Akbal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Ondokuzmayis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alkan Durcan struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ali Atıf Özyay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED FC. 82 minutes into the game, Alkan Durcan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ali Atıf Özyay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Behçet İzmirli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Atıf Özyay having to interfere. Ali Atıf Özyay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkan Durcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute of the match RED FC got a corner. Ondokuzmayis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baykam Tolay ran over to the corner to take the kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ondokuzmayis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RED FC.
