In the 11th minute, Mecnun Sebuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Şahintepe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Şahintepe's Alpertunga Balcı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Şahintepe from getting a goal against them. Datca FK's Ahmet Bedri Sümre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Selçuk in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Şerif Zade fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 33rd minute of the match, Atilla İmge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alpertunga Balcı was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Atilla İmge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alpertunga Balcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Şahintepe's Mecnun Sebuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Bedri Sümre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Atilla İmge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alp Selçuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Bedri Sümre having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alp Selçuk to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Alp Selçuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Datca FK's Ahmet Bedri Sümre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mecnun Sebuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ahmet Bedri Sümre made a huge save. In the 59th minute Şerif Zade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpertunga Balcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şahintepe's Alpertunga Balcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şerif Zade in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Şahintepe's goal looked a bit too open when Vedat Akbilge came free, but Alpertunga Balcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Datca FK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Şerif Zade hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Şahintepe's Özgün Şaki seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Özgün Şaki the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Şahintepe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Özgün Şaki had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Şahintepe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Ahmet Bedri Sümre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mecnun Sebuk in the 78th minute. Alpertunga Balcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla İmge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilla İmge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Şahintepe's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla İmge came free, but Alpertunga Balcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şerif Zade in the 94th minute of play forced Şahintepe's goalkeeper Alpertunga Balcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atilla İmge came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Datca FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilla İmge couldn't finish the play. The Datca FK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Şahintepe to win.
