Celtikci SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ümit Sulhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Bedri Sümre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Ali Erdem Sarıcabay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celtikci SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Erdem Sarıcabay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şerif Zade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Turgut Bayer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celtikci SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Datca FK the free kick. The supporters of Datca FK booed when Celtikci SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgut Bayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Şerif Zade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Bedri Sümre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ümit Sulhi in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Turgut Bayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Bedri Sümre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batu Cem Tuğyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerif Zade in the 45th minute of play. Duran Şenaltan hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Datca FK's Aycan Tüzüner got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

If Atilla İmge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 54 in the game by Atilla İmge from a close distance when the talented Batu Cem Tuğyan managed to make a qualified save. Celtikci SK's players were relieved. Datca FK's Ahmet Bedri Sümre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Sulhi in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Celtikci SK booed when Datca FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yıldırım Yetiş didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Duran Şenaltan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Datca FK's Ahmet Bedri Sümre didn't even have to move. Atilla İmge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batu Cem Tuğyan having to interfere. Atilla İmge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Batu Cem Tuğyan made a huge save. In the 69th match minute, Celtikci SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güralp Cevizoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Batu Cem Tuğyan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şerif Zade in the 74th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Atilla İmge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
