Şerafettin Usare made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Çağlar Keykubad sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Bayhan Kazanhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baspinar's supporters rose to their feet, but Bayhan Kazanhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şerafettin Usare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Bayhan Kazanhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baspinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayhan Kazanhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Korcan İltemir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ergani FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baspinar the free kick. 15 minutes into the match, Ergani FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bayhan Kazanhan came free, but Şerafettin Usare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ali Berkant Ülgener came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ergani FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Berkant Ülgener couldn't finish the play. Arif Oğuz Tandoruk charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Oğuz Tandoruk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ergani FK's Arif Oğuz Tandoruk got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Ergani FK defense, Çağlar Keykubad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şerafettin Usare. The Ergani FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şerafettin Usare should have stopped the shot. The goalkeeper, Şerafettin Usare, was totally fooled by Baspinar's İzzet Ataergin, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 37th minute Ali Berkant Ülgener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Hızır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, one of Baspinar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fethi Özdil shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bayhan Kazanhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerafettin Usare having to interfere. Ahmet Hamdi Tekdoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Şerafettin Usare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Oğuz Tandoruk hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The long shot by İzzet Ataergin in the 48th minute really tested Şerafettin Usare's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Şerafettin Usare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bayhan Kazanhan's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. İzzet Ataergin's late challenge caught a Ergani FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İzzet Ataergin helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Baspinar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Ergani FK. Fethi Özdil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dursun Hızır. 2-1. Ergani FK's Şerafettin Usare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hamdi Tekdoğan in the 62nd minute of play. Ahmet Hamdi Tekdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerafettin Usare having to interfere. Ahmet Hamdi Tekdoğan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şerafettin Usare having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Ahmet Hamdi Tekdoğan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bayhan Kazanhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Refik Halit Perkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dursun Hızır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emran Öztimur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayhan Kazanhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerafettin Usare having to interfere. Ahmet Hamdi Tekdoğan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şerafettin Usare having to make a save. When Celalettin Şömel fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baspinar's protests and gave Celalettin Şömel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ergani FK booed when Baspinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celalettin Şömel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
