The supporters of es es booed when Soma SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasret Elçin didn't get a good kick on the ball. es es's Aziz Başeskioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Soma SK's Kartal Vargın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğuralp İkbal in the 14th minute of play. Alparslan Vefi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Kumanbay having to interfere. es es's Hüseyin Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumhur Vahapoğlu in the 20th minute of play. Hasret Elçin's late challenge caught a es es's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hasret Elçin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Soma SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasret Elçin to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Aziz Başeskioğlu in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 27 minutes into the match, Soma SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Ciner came free, but Kartal Vargın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. es es's Hüseyin Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumhur Vahapoğlu in the 33rd minute of play. Kartal Vargın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emirşah Guftar in the 38th minute of play. The referee ignored Soma SK's protests and gave Akşemseddin Sabancı a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Soma SK got a freekick which was hit by Akşemseddin Sabancı. When Emirşah Guftar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kartal Vargın was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Ferid Tayuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Aziz Başeskioğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kartal Vargın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hüseyin Kumanbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alparslan Vefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uğuralp İkbal got free with Kartal Vargın in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aziz Başeskioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kartal Vargın having to interfere. Emirşah Guftar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferid Tayuk charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferid Tayuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğuralp İkbal in the 95th minute of play forced Soma SK's goalkeeper Kartal Vargın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute of the match es es got a corner. Soma SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abdulbaki Seylab ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Abdulbaki Seylab got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kartal Vargın quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. es es's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
