Erdal Koca kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Recai Dağdelen fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antalyaspor's protests and gave Recai Dağdelen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Recai Dağdelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cem Gürgen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ahmet Ege Şevket received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aybar Fişek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Garipbaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aybar Fişek having to make a save. After 11 minutes, Dilmen Balkar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Havran JK and the Antalyaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dilmen Balkar hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mazhar Garipbaş struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Aybar Fişek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antalyaspor. When Ahmet Ege Şevket came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Antalyaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Ege Şevket couldn't finish the play. Anıl Cenk İçöz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turabi Ergün in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Şehzade Özyay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antalyaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Havran JK the free kick. The supporters of Havran JK booed when Antalyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şehzade Özyay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Cem Gürgen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anıl Cenk İçöz skillfully saved the ball. During the 31st minute of the match Recai Dağdelen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Recai Dağdelen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Antalyaspor getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Recai Dağdelen hit a great ball. Turabi Ergün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Cenk İçöz having to interfere. Anıl Cenk İçöz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökberk Oyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Ege Şevket stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Erdal Koca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antalyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Erdal Koca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aybar Fişek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şehzade Özyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Ege Şevket fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybar Fişek having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Şehzade Özyay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antalyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Şehzade Özyay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After having played for 76 minutes, Erdal Koca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antalyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erdal Koca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Ahmet Ege Şevket shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybar Fişek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Ege Şevket recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Mazhar Garipbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antalyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Garipbaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
