Gürbüz Bekiroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Çinucen in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kütahya FK's Türkeş Kutluay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gürbüz Bekiroğlu. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, GÖKTÜRKBÖRÜ SK's goalkeeper Gürbüz Bekiroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mansur Gündoğan. Gürbüz Bekiroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Kutluay, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Keramettin Üstay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
