Ferid Nazır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Üstay having to interfere. When Tolgahan Birtan fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sulakyurt's protests and gave Tolgahan Birtan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nazimiye FK booed when Sulakyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolgahan Birtan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Akay Semim elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sulakyurt defense, Ferid Nazır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Recep Üstay. The Sulakyurt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Recep Üstay should have stopped the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Vecdet Cangun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sulakyurt's Recep Üstay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Akay Semim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ferid Nazır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Recep Üstay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Mazhar Boysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yetkin Yaban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gündüz Acarsoy hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Vecdet Cangun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Akay Semim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Nazimiye FK got a freekick which was hit by Dilaver Aldemir. Sulakyurt's Mazhar Boysan got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akay Semim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Yetkin Yaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vecdet Cangun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sulakyurt's Akay Semim got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yetkin Yaban was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mazhar Boysan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Mazhar Boysan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sulakyurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Boysan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ferid Nazır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sulakyurt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
