Yavuz Selim Talik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özer Rahim having to make a save. With a little luck, Yildirim's Özer Rahim got control of the ball when Ali Ömer Erçin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Bora Han Makbul got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With an all-out effort, Kadiköy's Özer Rahim threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Münir Umar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute, Bora Han Makbul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Kadiköy's Münir Umar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Özer Rahim. Özer Rahim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Bora Han Makbul had several of the Yildirim's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Özer Rahim as he didn't even see the shot coming. Yildirim's Özer Rahim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Han Makbul in the 27th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bora Han Makbul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yildirim's Özer Rahim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Yildirim booed when Kadiköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selim Talik didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Caner Akgündüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ali Ömer Erçin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute Bora Han Makbul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özer Rahim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ali Ömer Erçin sped through Yildirim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Özer Rahim. Özer Rahim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bora Han Makbul in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Yavuz Selim Talik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özer Rahim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bora Han Makbul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özer Rahim having to interfere. Ali Ömer Erçin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caner Akgündüz's late challenge caught a Kadiköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caner Akgündüz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yildirim's Caner Akgündüz got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yildirim's zone, Ali Ömer Erçin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özer Rahim came out of the goal and Ali Ömer Erçin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Bora Han Makbul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özer Rahim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Ömer Erçin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Özer Rahim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yildirim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Ömer Erçin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Kadiköy's Bora Han Makbul got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bora Han Makbul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Özer Rahim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Han Makbul in the 96th minute of play forced Yildirim's goalkeeper Özer Rahim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kadiköy had played much better football throughout.
