In the 12th minute, Ahmet Seyfi Horasanlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Özgür Güney FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sertel Kaveloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubat Ergüder having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Özgür Güney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Batur Alpaslan came free, but Kubat Ergüder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. gebzespipor's Özkan Demiray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Seyfi Horasanlı in the 25th minute of play. Batur Alpaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garip Barlas hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Özgür Güney FC's goalkeeper Kubat Ergüder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batur Alpaslan to make the kick off. If Ahmet Seyfi Horasanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Batur Alpaslan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kubat Ergüder. İsrafil Askeroğlu scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kubat Ergüder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 69 minutes of play, gebzespipor's Batur Alpaslan made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Seyfi Horasanlı took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özkan Demiray. Özkan Demiray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. The audience was convinced that Batur Alpaslan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kubat Ergüder was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Kubat Ergüder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batur Alpaslan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Özgür Güney FC's goal looked a bit too open when İsrafil Askeroğlu came free, but Kubat Ergüder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mehmet Oğuz Keçecioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Oğuz Keçecioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubat Ergüder having to interfere. Hayrettin Pekiner kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
