Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) balıkesirspor's Vedat Uzcan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hayrettin Yaltırak got free with Şenel Türker in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şenel Türker came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Urla's Hayrettin Yaltırak. But to his dismay, Hayrettin Yaltırak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Hayrettin Yaltırak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hayrettin Yaltırak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hayrettin Yaltırak hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Arda Mansız made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Uzcan in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Vedat Uzcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The balıkesirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, balıkesirspor's Bayezit Aurelio got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Necmi Alp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. balıkesirspor's Vedat Uzcan got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bora Han Yazargil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Hayrettin Yaltırak could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Şenel Türker however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute, Necmi Alp made a precise shot to the right of Arda Mansız. Urla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Naim Atılay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vedat Uzcans short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Arda Mansız to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Vedat Uzcan put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arda Mansız. Naim Atılay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Mansız having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, balıkesirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İrfan Orkutay to maneuver through the defense. Necmi Alp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Vedat Uzcan in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Celal Karar hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, balıkesirspor's Ahmet Kutsi Rafetoğulları got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, balıkesirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrettin Yaltırak came free, but Şenel Türker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vedat Uzcan got in the 76th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arda Mansız handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Arda Mansız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedat Uzcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Urla getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cumhur Harzemşah hit a great ball. When Vedat Uzcan came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the balıkesirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vedat Uzcan couldn't finish the play. With his leg Arda Mansız managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when balıkesirspor's Vedat Uzcan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Naim Atılay managed to get in a good position for a shot. balıkesirspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Naim Atılay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Mansız breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over balıkesirspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Urla throughout the match.
