İlkan Tezal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Volkan Ak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Onuralp Paşa. izmirspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Volkan Ak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 19th match minute, Akyazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Görkem Kartekin to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Gökçek Taşkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Onuralp Paşa. izmirspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökçek Taşkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Gökçek Taşkan came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Akyazi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökçek Taşkan couldn't finish the play. Gökçek Taşkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 53 minutes, Gökçek Taşkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akyazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçek Taşkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İlkan Tezal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ergincan Sudi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Gökçek Taşkan took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Onuralp Paşa. Onuralp Paşa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. izmirspor's Onuralp Paşa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volkan Ak in the 66th minute of play. Onuralp Paşa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volkan Ak in the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes izmirspor got a freekick which was hit by İsmail Orhun Vahdet. Gökçek Taşkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Onuralp Paşa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökçek Taşkan ran back to his position shaking his head. Onuralp Paşa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gökçek Taşkan in the 75th minute. Ergincan Sudi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlkan Tezal in the 78th minute of the match. Çağatay Usalp hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. İlkan Tezal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Akyazi getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hızır Taşer hit a great ball. The supporters of izmirspor booed when Akyazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Görkem Kartekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Akyazi got a freekick which was hit by Çağatay Usalp. Akyazi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
