Özmen Taciroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirkelam Sedat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Savaşer Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özmen Taciroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Mirkelam Sedat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ECEM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mirkelam Sedat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Hamza Olguner during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ECEM's Ali Hamza Olguner got a free kick in the 18th minute. Savaşer Tokhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olcay Orkun Argun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enginsu Başkur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ECEM's Enginsu Başkur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataman Sungurtekin in the 40th minute of play. After 40 played minutes ECEM got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nejat Yaruk. Olcay Orkun Argun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Enginsu Başkur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ali Hamza Olguner was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Olcay Orkun Argun took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Enginsu Başkur to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Osman Çiftçi to make the kick off. Yazihan JK's Mehmet Osman Çiftçi got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ECEM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Meriç Akdurmuş ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Meriç Akdurmuş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ECEM's Enginsu Başkur did a great save. After taking down the ball on Yazihan JK's corner Meriç Akdurmuş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enginsu Başkur quite easily take care of the ball. Yazihan JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Meriç Akdurmuş in the 73rd minute. After taking down the ball on Yazihan JK's corner Tarık Tosunoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enginsu Başkur quite easily take care of the ball. In the 86th minute, Olcay Orkun Argun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yazihan JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ECEM's goalkeeper Enginsu Başkur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Yazihan JK booed when ECEM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirkelam Sedat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by ECEM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Meriç Akdurmuş was slow to take the kick. During this time Yazihan JK's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Yazihan JK's Enis Behiç Yeltekin got a free kick in the 100th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the ECEM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yazihan JK.
