The referee ignored Dogansehir's protests and gave Sefa Erginer a yellow card for diving instead. Anıl Arda Gaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İsmail Hakkı Erbelgin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, one of Tonya SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Dogansehir a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emirşah Ayaydın, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tonya SK's Okanalp Ongel. 1-0. When Uğuralp Kotuzhan fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tonya SK's protests and gave Uğuralp Kotuzhan a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Tonya SK got a freekick which was hit by Uğuralp Kotuzhan. If Yüksel Tanrıverdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tonya SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hıncal Riayet 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The supporters of Dogansehir booed when Tonya SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hıncal Karabulut didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Doğan Resulhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tonya SK and the Dogansehir players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Tonya SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğan Resulhan to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes, Dogansehir's Emirşah Ayaydın shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Okanalp Ongel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dogansehir reached it. When Emirşah Ayaydın fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dogansehir's protests and gave Emirşah Ayaydın a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dogansehir fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! Kartal Tansan had in the 51stth minute some difficulties stopping Zeynel Yordam's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 2-1 came in the 51st minute when Zeynel Yordam all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Kartal Tansan.

The wind increased when Hıncal Riayet made the kick off in the second half. Yüksel Tanrıverdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kartal Tansan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hıncal Riayet in the 61st minute of play forced Tonya SK's goalkeeper Okanalp Ongel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Okanalp Ongel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Arda Gaza in the 64th minute of the match. Kartal Tansan made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ahmet Necdet Dürüst sent off a good shot on target. Hıncal Riayet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hıncal Karabulut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kartal Tansan having to interfere. Yüksel Tanrıverdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kartal Tansan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tonya SK's zone, Hıncal Riayet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okanalp Ongel came out of the goal and Hıncal Riayet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anıl Arda Gaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 101st match minute, Dogansehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğit Ökten to maneuver through the defense. Tonya SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
