Serkan Temirhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkut Özerk, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Ege Rasih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serkan Temirhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Selamicesme. Erkut Özerk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Serkan Temirhan. 1-0. The supporters of Selamicesme booed when Asas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevdet Hasanbeyli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Selamicesme's Erkut Özerk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Ensar Yaltır came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Selamicesme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ensar Yaltır couldn't finish the play. Ensar Yaltır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Erkut Özerk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selamicesme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erkut Özerk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Selamicesme's Melih Cevdet Kuman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Melih Cevdet Kuman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serkan Temirhan came out and tried to block the shot, but Melih Cevdet Kuman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. If Ensar Yaltır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ege Rasih's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serkan Temirhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ensar Yaltır could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Serkan Temirhan however easily saved by the left post. Serkan Temirhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ege Rasih in the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akşemseddin Korgan to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ege Rasih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selamicesme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ege Rasih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Selamicesme got a freekick which was hit by Melih Cevdet Kuman. When Vehdi Sabih fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selamicesme's protests and gave Vehdi Sabih a yellow card for diving instead. Vehdi Sabih hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, Asas's Işıkalp Ongel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Turan Okbudun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Asas reached it. If Gökçek Kahraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Akşemseddin Korgan took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Turan Okbudun to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 73 minutes, Ege Rasih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selamicesme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ege Rasih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serkan Temirhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Yaltır in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Asas's zone, Erkut Özerk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serkan Temirhan came out of the goal and Erkut Özerk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akşemseddin Korgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Asas booed when Selamicesme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melih Cevdet Kuman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Asas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Resul Lami hit a great ball. Turan Okbudun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Selim İldemir in the 89th minute of the match. When Erkut Özerk came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Selamicesme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erkut Özerk couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Murat Selim İldemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Selamicesme fully deserved thier win.
