Alaaddin Uğural showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Osman Necid, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykam Ergönül in the 34th minute of play forced Pasabahce's goalkeeper Alaaddin Uğural to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pasabahce's Alaaddin Uğural got control of the ball when Şimşek Tekgül tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pasabahce's supporters rose to their feet, but Güneri Demirezen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayati Göktürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Mehmet Osman Necid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayati Göktürk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alkan Perver managed to get in a good position for a shot.
