Teoman Onuktekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Emirdag JK's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğit Genç came free, but Enis Behiç Tengiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Erdek's zone, Yücel Yükselir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teoman Onuktekin came out of the goal and Yücel Yükselir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aktuğ Baykan charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aktuğ Baykan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute Poyraz Pektaşi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enis Behiç Tengiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yiğit Genç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enis Behiç Tengiz having to make a save. If Poyraz Pektaşi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute of the match, Mustafa Emre Hezarfen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teoman Onuktekin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yiğit Genç to make the kick off. Emirdag JK's Yücel Yükselir got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Poyraz Pektaşi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Poyraz Pektaşi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Enis Behiç Tengiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yücel Yükselir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Teoman Onuktekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
