With a left leg Necip Fazıl Aktürk saved KUZEYEFE from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Akif Ergünay got free with Necip Fazıl Aktürk in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Burak Akartuna fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KUZEYEFE's protests and gave Burak Akartuna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, one of KUZEYEFE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KUZEYEFE. Kadim Uzel shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Necip Fazıl Aktürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemal Eripek in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atak Toktahan in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necip Fazıl Aktürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Cuma Yaltır notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KUZEYEFE's Necip Fazıl Aktürk. Necip Fazıl Aktürk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of KUZEYEFE booed when Aliaga FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saltuk Cantekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KUZEYEFE getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Asaf Öner hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Necaettin Uzay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaptan İlkutay. Aliaga FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Necaettin Uzay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Baturalp Uğurlubey's late challenge caught a KUZEYEFE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baturalp Uğurlubey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Aliaga FK's Baturalp Uğurlubey got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Necip Fazıl Aktürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atak Toktahan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KUZEYEFE's Necip Fazıl Aktürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save KUZEYEFE from getting a goal against them. Orhan Zübeyr was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Kadim Uzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aliaga FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atak Toktahan was the one to do the kick off. Necip Fazıl Aktürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemal Eripek in the 56th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Necaettin Uzay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute, Eşref Mutlualp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Aliaga FK's Mehmet Akif Ergünay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Necip Fazıl Aktürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 72nd minute, Cuma Yaltır made a precise shot to the right of Necip Fazıl Aktürk. KUZEYEFE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aliaga FK's goalkeeper Kaptan İlkutay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Arda Baybars Zabit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Cuma Yaltır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuma Yaltır in the 95th minute of play forced KUZEYEFE's goalkeeper Necip Fazıl Aktürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Necaettin Uzay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aliaga FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while KUZEYEFE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
