The audience was convinced that Baki Gazel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulaş Onurhan was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Gürbüz Doğan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Kemal Cebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talas JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kemal Cebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulaş Onurhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baki Gazel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cayirli FK's Ulaş Onurhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baki Gazel in the 25th minute of play. Gürbüz Doğan might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egemen Subutay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulaş Onurhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Sedat Salar hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Mustafa Barış Çağkar managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. If Şinasi Ustam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürbüz Doğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beşir Hafızoğlu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yavuz Selimhan Oğuzata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gürbüz Doğan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egemen Subutay having to make a save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Talas JK's Baki Gazel got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Utku Aktaşlı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulaş Onurhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Cayirli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şinasi Ustam to maneuver through the defense. Ulaş Onurhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baki Gazel in the 82nd minute. Anıl Baran Temizkanoğlu's late challenge caught a Talas JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Talas JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
