But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferhan Sezen couldn't finish the play. Ferhan Sezen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bora Han Oktan having to make a save. Muzaffer İnciroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferhan Sezen struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Bora Han Oktan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bilkent. Bora Han Oktan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haşmet Kural, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Aykut Mahşer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Yahyali FK defense, Muzaffer İnciroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bora Han Oktan. The Yahyali FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bora Han Oktan should have stopped the shot. If Ferhan Sezen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bilkent's Muzaffer İnciroğlu in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yahyali FK's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Devran Özker to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Yahyali FK's goalkeeper Bora Han Oktan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferhan Sezen. In the 55th minute, Yahyali FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Muzaffer İnciroğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Bilkent's Haşmet Kural got a free kick in the 56th minute. Devran Özker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bora Han Oktan made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ferhan Sezen sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Muzaffer İnciroğlu took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Bora Han Oktan to make any attempt to save it. Şahap Ayçetin's late challenge caught a Yahyali FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şahap Ayçetin helped the player get up and apologised. Ferhan Sezen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bora Han Oktan came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferhan Sezen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 83rd minute. If Ferhan Sezen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Yahyali FK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alemdar Torgay hit a great ball. Muzaffer İnciroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
