After 11 minutes, Göksel Uğurtan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tettiko FC and the Özalp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Özalp's Ali Asım Karakaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat Necaettin in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şükrü Kose in the 18th minute of play forced Özalp's goalkeeper Ali Asım Karakaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Tettiko FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
