Süreyya Yalınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taner Batıhan having to interfere. When Süreyya Yalınay came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Yamanlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Süreyya Yalınay couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Akkus JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yamanlar:s goal. Fahrettin Ercan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 13 played minutes Akkus JK got a freekick which was hit by Mahir Kutel. Fahrettin Ercan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 15 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Taner Batıhan right hand side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Akkus JK's goalkeeper Taner Batıhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Akkus JK defense, Süreyya Yalınay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taner Batıhan. The Akkus JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taner Batıhan should have stopped the shot. Taner Batıhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barış Koray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Gökberk Özarkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cemil Alpman in the 29th minute of play forced Yamanlar's goalkeeper Yıldırım Kemal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barış Koray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Taner Batıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Süreyya Yalınay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yamanlar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Süreyya Yalınay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taner Batıhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süreyya Yalınay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Yamanlar booed when Akkus JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferid Tunca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Yamanlar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cemil Alpman to strike the kick off in the second half. Süreyya Yalınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taner Batıhan having to interfere. Akkus JK's Taner Batıhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barış Koray in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Cemil Alpman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yıldırım Kemal. Yamanlar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cemil Alpman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Gökalp Aşkıner in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yıldırım Kemal saved Yamanlar from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barış Koray in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taner Batıhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yıldırım Kemal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gökalp Aşkıner in the 67th minute of play. Ahmet Gökalp Aşkıner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Yamanlar's Nuh Akyazıcıoğlu got a free kick in the 91st minute. Yamanlar's Yıldırım Kemal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gökalp Aşkıner in the 92nd minute of play. Yamanlar were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
