Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hatay SK's Hamdullah Cumali started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cezmi Talaz struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Bahri Yumus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alaca. Şevket Ergümen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdullah Cumali in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Hamdullah Cumali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şevket Ergümen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaca's Cezmi Talaz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Hatay SK got a freekick which was hit by Yaman Bozdağ. Alaca's Ersin Kamber couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hatay SK. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Cezmi Talaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezmi Talaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahri Yumus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hatay SK's Fırat Özata got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute of the match Ersin Kamber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bahri Yumus skillfully saved the ball. Aral Başöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bahri Yumus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aral Başöz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Hamdullah Cumali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şevket Ergümen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Aral Başöz scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bahri Yumus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 56 played minutes Hatay SK got a freekick which was hit by Şenol Varan. After a defensive mix-up in Hatay SK's zone, Cezmi Talaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahri Yumus came out of the goal and Cezmi Talaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahri Yumus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aral Başöz in the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, Alaca's Cezmi Talaz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahri Yumus was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Aral Başöz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Alaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aral Başöz couldn't finish the play. Hasan Hüseyin Erduran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Hatay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Talaz came free, but Bahri Yumus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alaca fully deserved thier win.
