Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Şükrü Bayezit started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Çelikan Özol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derviş Hatipoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükrü Bayezit in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Serbülent Turaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şükrü Bayezit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Derviş Hatipoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeynel Şahsar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurbey Yağınalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Songurbey Yağınalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AnıtkentSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Songurbey Yağınalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of AnıtkentSpor booed when Kizilay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hurşit Erdemalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Cahit Canpolat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Derviş Hatipoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Şükrü Bayezit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hüseyin Cahit Canpolat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When AnıtkentSpor's Songurbey Yağınalp in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kizilay's goalie prevented a goal. Aydın Yelesen charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aydın Yelesen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Kizilay got a freekick which was hit by Aydın Yelesen. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hadi Boğataş to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Arif Ozan Akbora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kizilay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AnıtkentSpor the free kick. The supporters of AnıtkentSpor booed when Kizilay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Ozan Akbora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şükrü Bayezit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kizilay fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Kizilay's Şükrü Bayezit looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute, Hadi Boğataş fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zeynel Şahsar, passed just outside the right post. Hüseyin Cahit Canpolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kizilay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
