The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enver Tandoğdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuddusî Başkaynak, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute Volkan Yazganalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enver Tandoğdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Volkan Yazganalp couldn't finish the play. After 12 minutes, Ali Zahir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osmanlıspor 1299 and the Yayladagi FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Zahir hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Volkan Yazganalp scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enver Tandoğdu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hacı Develi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzhan Şahin in the 22nd minute of play. Kuddusî Başkaynak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enver Tandoğdu having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Kuddusî Başkaynak notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Osmanlıspor 1299's Enver Tandoğdu. Enver Tandoğdu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ragıp Yürüker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enver Tandoğdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragıp Yürüker, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Yayladagi FK's Ragıp Yürüker got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Yayladagi FK's Hacı Develi got control of the ball when Rafettin Tekrim tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Osmanlıspor 1299 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yayladagi FK were winning 0-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuddusî Başkaynak got free with Enver Tandoğdu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aybar Beyzade charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aybar Beyzade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Aybar Beyzade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Zahir got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Yayladagi FK booed when Osmanlıspor 1299 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Zahir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuddusî Başkaynak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Osmanlıspor 1299's goal looked a bit too open when Volkan Yazganalp came free, but Enver Tandoğdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hacı Develi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafettin Tekrim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Osmanlıspor 1299 booed when Yayladagi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilgaz Yaldırak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Kuddusî Başkaynak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yayladagi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuddusî Başkaynak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Münir Haymanalı's late challenge caught a Yayladagi FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Münir Haymanalı helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Yayladagi FK's Mehmet Çağrı Esir tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Volkan Yazganalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yayladagi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Volkan Yazganalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enver Tandoğdu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Batıray Canalp's late challenge caught a Osmanlıspor 1299's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batıray Canalp helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yayladagi FK! Alp Tunçkaya shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 76 minutes into the match, Yayladagi FK's Volkan Yazganalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enver Tandoğdu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
