Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cevdet Yamaner made the kick off which started today's match. Berat Pekdeger in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fuat Kurhan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Berat Pekdeger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fuat Kurhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevdet Yamaner, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Fuat Kurhan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bora Han Sağcan. 18 minutes into the game, Cevdet Yamaner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fuat Kurhan. Cevdet Yamaner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE SK's Berat Pekdeger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fuat Kurhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cevdet Yamaner in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fuat Kurhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yahya Kemal Soysaldı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Cevdet Yamaner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevdet Yamaner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cevdet Yamaner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fuat Kurhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Erdem Genç made the kick off in the second half. When Afşar Şıran fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FENERBAHÇE SK's protests and gave Afşar Şıran a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FENERBAHÇE SK's Afşar Şıran got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to FENERBAHÇE SK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cevdet Yamaner hit a great ball. The supporters of Cihangir booed when FENERBAHÇE SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taha Togay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fuat Kurhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berat Pekdeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 79th match minute, FENERBAHÇE SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşar Şıran to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE SK's goalkeeper Mümtaz Şahbaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yahya Kemal Soysaldı. Fuat Kurhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taha Togay in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Berat Pekdeger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FENERBAHÇE SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Berat Pekdeger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fuat Kurhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fuat Kurhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berat Pekdeger in the 89th minute of the match. Berat Pekdeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FENERBAHÇE SK's Azim Kutlu pulled a muscle in his leg after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Atak Kaşif fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cihangir's protests and gave Atak Kaşif a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Cihangir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atak Kaşif to maneuver through the defense. Serter Ünzil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuat Kurhan having to interfere. FENERBAHÇE SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
