When Fırat Kiner fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burdur FK's protests and gave Fırat Kiner a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Burdur FK's Fırat Kiner got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Siirt SK's Rahim Uludağ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Birol Uyarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Atabey Uğursan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siirt SK's Rahim Uludağ got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinç Özberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute of the match, Dinç Özberk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Okan Öksüzoğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinç Özberk to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahim Uludağ got free with Mustafa Birol Uyarel in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Birol Uyarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atabey Uğursan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karadeniz Talayman's late challenge caught a Siirt SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karadeniz Talayman helped the player get up and apologised. Karadeniz Talayman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Mustafa Birol Uyarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atabey Uğursan in the 94th minute of the match. The Burdur FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Siirt SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Siirt SK.
