Ertan Kortan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Mahmut Gündoğan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Vecdet Ozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ertan Kortan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Mahmut Gündoğan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vecdet Ozan's late challenge caught a Ömerlispor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vecdet Ozan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute of the match Yakup Hallaçoğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Korkutalp Özilhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tufanbeyli's Korkutalp Özilhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayfur Özver in the 17th minute of play. Ertan Kortan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ömerlispor's Mahmut Gündoğan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ömerlispor from getting a goal against them. Ertan Kortan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmut Gündoğan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ömerlispor's Özden Yonal got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ömerlispor's Mahmut Gündoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Kortan in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Ömerlispor getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Özden Yonal hit a great ball. Ertan Kortans short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Mahmut Gündoğan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Ömerlispor defense, Ahmet Rıfat Oksar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mahmut Gündoğan. The Ömerlispor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mahmut Gündoğan should have stopped the shot. Ertan Kortan might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mahmut Gündoğan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ertan Kortan ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ertan Kortan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Vecdet Ozan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mahmut Gündoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertan Kortan in the 62nd minute of play. Tufanbeyli's Ertan Kortan got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tufanbeyli booed when Ömerlispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selim Uçbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes Ömerlispor got a freekick which was hit by Çelik Soyurgal. In the 73rd minute of the match Selmi Gökalp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Korkutalp Özilhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Ertan Kortan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ömerlispor's Mahmut Gündoğan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kurtuluş Kayıboylu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ömerlispor's goalkeeper Mahmut Gündoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ertan Kortan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahmut Gündoğan was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Tayfur Özver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ertan Kortan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmut Gündoğan having to interfere. A collision led to Ömerlispor getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yavuz Selim Uçbay hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Tufanbeyli were the better team. Tufanbeyli's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
