The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cem Yesar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Cem Yesar made a precise shot to the right of Ergincan Akçabay. melis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kenan İlhan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of YALI1925 booed when melis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulvahit Elhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necip Fazıl Temren in the 22nd minute of play forced melis's goalkeeper Ergincan Akçabay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ege Coşan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semih Işıklar in the 25th minute. Ege Coşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necaettin Naci, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ergincan Akçabay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cem Yesar in the 29th minute of play. Ergincan Akçabay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Varol Akburçak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ergincan Akçabay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cem Yesar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of YALI1925 booed when melis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atahan Özbas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cem Yesar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ergincan Akçabay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in YALI1925's zone, Atahan Özbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ege Coşan came out of the goal and Atahan Özbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Necaettin Naci made a kick off. Ergincan Akçabay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Necip Fazıl Temren went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ergincan Akçabay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cem Yesar in the 59th minute of play. Necip Fazıl Temren in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ergincan Akçabay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Necaettin Naci scored 1-4 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ege Coşan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, melis's goal looked a bit too open when Cem Yesar came free, but Ergincan Akçabay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, melis's Ergincan Akçabay got control of the ball when Necip Fazıl Temren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th match minute, YALI1925 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derman Yekta to maneuver through the defense. The YALI1925 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing YALI1925 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
