Arif Memduh Yelesen struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ahmet Harun İskandil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fikirtepe. Abidin Ergüder hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cevher Cezlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Baykal Sağman fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kemerburgaz SK's protests and gave Baykal Sağman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kemerburgaz SK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Baykal Sağman hit a great ball. Ahmet Harun İskandil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kubat Tonguç, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Kemerburgaz SK booed when Fikirtepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selim Dirsehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şinasi Askeroğlu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. İlker Kumanbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemerburgaz SK. After a rather tough play, Fikirtepe's Cevher Cezlan got a free kick in the 30th minute. Kemerburgaz SK's Karadeniz Özgiray got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Arif Memduh Yelesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Harun İskandil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kemerburgaz SK's zone, Arif Memduh Yelesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Harun İskandil came out of the goal and Arif Memduh Yelesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Yavuz İley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Kemerburgaz SK's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Memduh Yelesen came free, but Ahmet Harun İskandil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şinasi Askeroğlu in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İlker Kumanbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karadeniz Özgiray got free with İlker Kumanbay in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Fikirtepe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kubat Tonguç made a kick off. İlker Kumanbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şinasi Askeroğlu in the 53rd minute of the match. Ahmet Harun İskandil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kubat Tonguç in the 55th minute of play. Arif Memduh Yelesen struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ahmet Harun İskandil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fikirtepe. Yavuz Selim Dirsehan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Harun İskandil came out and tried to block the shot, but Yavuz Selim Dirsehan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 58th minute. İlker Kumanbay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karadeniz Özgiray went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 72ndth minute of the game Şinasi Askeroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fikirtepe's İlker Kumanbay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yavuz İley charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yavuz İley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. İlker Kumanbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şinasi Askeroğlu in the 78th minute of play. İlker Kumanbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karadeniz Özgiray's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Fikirtepe's Arif Memduh Yelesen got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fikirtepe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
