Bogazkale FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Fatih Tansoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marmaris SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naci Akartuna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Çakabey Samim fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bogazkale FK's protests and gave Çakabey Samim a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Bogazkale FK got a freekick which was hit by Çakabey Samim. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bogazkale FK's goalkeeper Cankut Akbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, Bogazkale FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolgahan Başat to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Bogazkale FK defense, Mehmet Fatih Tansoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cankut Akbal. The Bogazkale FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cankut Akbal should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazım Ulusu during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Nazım Ulusu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Agah Vefakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Fatih Tansoy in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cankut Akbal saved Bogazkale FK from getting behind. Baykam İlmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgun Akmanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Mehmet Fatih Tansoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Fatih Tansoy in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cankut Akbal saved Bogazkale FK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agah Vefakar in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cankut Akbal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cankut Akbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Fatih Tansoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Bogazkale FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Derman Akşin hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olgun Akmanoğlu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Vahdet Nabi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bogazkale FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Baykam İlmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahdet Nabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Agah Vefakar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cankut Akbal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Olgun Akmanoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Bogazkale FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgun Akmanoğlu couldn't finish the play. Cankut Akbal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehmet Fatih Tansoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. Selçuk Akduman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. Marmaris SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
