In the 10th minute Kuzey Kayra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytekin Kayral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Patnos's Orhun Balta got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Orhun Balta fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patnos's protests and gave Orhun Balta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Orhun Balta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ali Kürşat Sabri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Türker Uğuralp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Danış Akil. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Mustafa Oğuz Bolat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Kürşat Sabri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mustafa Oğuz Bolat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Danış Akil having to interfere. A collision led to akdeniz getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Esen Nasip hit a great ball. When Türker Uğuralp came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Patnos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Türker Uğuralp couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Patnos's goal looked a bit too open when Kemal Davarcı came free, but Aytekin Kayral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuzey Kayra might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aytekin Kayral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
