When Lefter Asır fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zenit St. Petersburg's protests and gave Lefter Asır a yellow card for diving instead. Lefter Asır kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Zenit St. Petersburg's Ali Cengiz Eymen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genco Kebir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Camliyayla got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Arif Müslim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayezit Batırhan in the 10th minute of play forced Zenit St. Petersburg's goalkeeper Bora Han Tanak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cengiz Eymen in the 11th minute of play forced Camliyayla's goalkeeper Genco Kebir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Cengiz Eymen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Kebir having to interfere. Genco Kebir made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ali Cengiz Eymen sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Camliyayla's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Cengiz Eymen came free, but Genco Kebir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Cengiz Eymen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Kebir having to interfere. Tugay Başol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Kebir having to interfere. In the 31st minute Ali Cengiz Eymen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genco Kebir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genco Kebir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cengiz Eymen in the 38th minute of play. Necmettin Fazilet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Genco Kebir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camliyayla's Genco Kebir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Cengiz Eymen in the 45th minute of play. Tugay Başol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Genco Kebir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genco Kebir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cengiz Eymen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The Zenit St. Petersburg fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Zenit St. Petersburg's Ali Cengiz Eymen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Camliyayla getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Suphi Özay hit a great ball. Ali Cengiz Eymen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Genco Kebir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cengiz Eymen in the 67th minute of play forced Camliyayla's goalkeeper Genco Kebir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Necmettin Fazilet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tugay Başol scored 3-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genco Kebir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Efe Mertoğul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenit St. Petersburg's Lefter Asır got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Ali Cengiz Eymen made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Camliyayla's Genco Kebir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
