Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Seyfullah Remzi took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Cengiz Eymen in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayfun Zişan saved Ardanuc from getting behind. Tayfun Zişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tugay Başol, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of Zenit St. Petersburg booed when Ardanuc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Hüseyin Erbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ali Cengiz Eymen came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Zenit St. Petersburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Cengiz Eymen couldn't finish the play. Seyfullah Remzi scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bora Han Tanak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Ardanuc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özdemir Bilgen to maneuver through the defense. When Zenit St. Petersburg's Ali Cengiz Eymen in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ardanuc's goalie prevented a goal. Tayfun Zişan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Cengiz Eymen's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Yakup Kadri Kalender kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Özdemir Bilgen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Bora Han Tanak made a huge save. Bora Han Tanak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfullah Remzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Ali Cengiz Eymen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zenit St. Petersburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Cengiz Eymen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tayfun Zişan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Cengiz Eymen went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ali Cengiz Eymen scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tayfun Zişan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Cengiz Eymen made a kick off. Zenit St. Petersburg's Bora Han Tanak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfullah Remzi in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ali Cengiz Eymen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zenit St. Petersburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Cengiz Eymen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfun Zişan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tayfun Zişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lefter Asır, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Bora Han Tanak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özdemir Bilgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Seyfullah Remzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tayfun Zişan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Cengiz Eymen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 64 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zenit St. Petersburg's Necmettin Fazilet got a free kick in the 69th minute. Tayfun Zişan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necmi Torel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Cengiz Eymen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ardanuc's zone, Ali Cengiz Eymen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfun Zişan came out of the goal and Ali Cengiz Eymen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tayfun Zişan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Cengiz Eymen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 81 minute of play. If Ali Cengiz Eymen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tugay Başol came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Zenit St. Petersburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tugay Başol couldn't finish the play. Ali Cengiz Eymen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Tayfun Zişan 93 minutes into the match.
