Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Meriç Tuncal in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mikail Tümer came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Güney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikail Tümer couldn't finish the play. Meriç Tuncal might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meriç Tuncal ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mikail Tümer came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Güney fans jumped to their feet. Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meriç Tuncal's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Konyaalti's Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Tuncal in the 17th minute of play. Güney's Özalp Suavi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Konyaalti. Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meriç Tuncal, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mikail Tümer took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan. Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Mikail Tümer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 33 played minutes Konyaalti got a freekick which was hit by Raik Hataylı. In the 38th minute, Mikail Tümer made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan. Konyaalti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Dilaver Tufan fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Konyaalti's protests and gave Dilaver Tufan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Konyaalti getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dilaver Tufan hit a great ball. Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikail Tümer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Güney booed when Konyaalti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazlı Akergin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meriç Tuncal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Yakut Akdeniz made the kick off in the second half. Güney's Halis Babacan got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, Konyaalti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekrem Bilkan to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meriç Tuncal in the 54th minute of play. Ahmet Necdet Koçyiğit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yakut Akdeniz's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Güney's zone, Raik Hataylı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Necdet Koçyiğit came out of the goal and Raik Hataylı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meriç Tuncal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Göktuğ Bozdoğan having to make a save. Konyaalti's Fazlı Akergin suffered a concussion in the 66th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Işıkalp Eroğuz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Güney booed when Konyaalti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakut Akdeniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Meriç Tuncal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meriç Tuncal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güney's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
