Baran Vafi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saip Başat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Gördes's Saip Başat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yakup Kadri İlbeyi in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Baran Vafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saip Başat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tolunay Sanat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efekan Dalayer hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Yağızhan Özengin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mehmet Emre Giryar made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Baran Vafi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saip Başat was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baran Vafi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saip Başat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Gördes's zone, Baran Vafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saip Başat came out of the goal and Baran Vafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baran Vafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Baran Vafi sped through Gördes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saip Başat. Saip Başat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baran Vafi in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Baran Vafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saip Başat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Necip Acunalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gördes's goalkeeper Saip Başat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baybars Temizkal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Raskolnikov FC got a freekick which was hit by Savaş İdrisoğlu. With his leg Saip Başat managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Raskolnikov FC's Baran Vafi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saip Başat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Vafi in the 74th minute. With his leg Saip Başat managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Raskolnikov FC's Fazıl Hüsnü Korhan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necip Acunalp in the 81st minute of play forced Raskolnikov FC's goalkeeper Mehmet Emre Giryar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Korhan made a precise shot to the right of Saip Başat. Gördes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Saip Başat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Candido Erdiano. Fazıl Hüsnü Korhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yakup Kadri İlbeyi struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Saip Başat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raskolnikov FC. Raskolnikov FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
